Bio:

Sara Lewis Holmes has lived in eleven states and three countries. She studied physics at UNC-Chapel Hill, government at the College of William and Mary, and writing at home.

She now lives in Virginia with her husband and two children. She is currently celebrating the release of her second book, Operation Yes (Arthur A. Levine/Scholastic Books) which was recently starred by Booklist and selected as one of its "Top Ten Arts Books for Youth 2009."

Her first novel, Letters From Rapunzel, won the HarperCollins Ursula Nordstrom Fiction Prize.
