Bio:

Suzanne Barchers was Managing Editor for more than four years at Weekly Reader in Stamford, CT, and she then served as Editor in Chief and Vice President at LeapFrog for more than three years. Barchers currently serves as president on the board of directors for the Association of Educational Publishers and on the PBS Media Advisory Board for the next generation of children’s programming. She has more than 90 books in print, including short childrens books for educational programs and the trade, readers theatre collections, and 2 college textbooks. She consults and writes from her home in Stanford, CA.
