Bio:
Robin Brickman grew up in Northern Virginia, where the Smithsonian Institution provided much inspiration. After college in Vermont, where Robin studied graphic arts and botany, she began her illustration career. Her first picture book, "I Am An Artist" by Pat Lowery Collins, is a well-loved classic and has been in print since 1992. In 1995, Robin had a "Eureka" moment when she developed her 3-Dimensional cut and sculpted watercolor paintings. Beginning with Wendy Pfeffer's "A Log's Life," her books and original art have earned many awards. Robin's workshops are in demand at schools, libraries, and museums across the country.
