Bio:

Kimberly Morris is the Houston-based author of more than 60 books for children and young adults, many of them for popular series and including Disney Fairies, Animorphs, Real Kids Readers, and Sweet Valley. She has also written animated television scripts for The ThunderCats, SilverHawks, TigerSharks, and MiniMonsters, as well as short stories for the Muppets, Muppet Babies, and Fraggle Rock character groups. She is also an accomplished lyricist who learned the craft of writing in the New York City BMI Theater Writers Workshop. Among her publishers and producers are Disney Press, Random House, Scholastic, Millbrook Press, Bantam, DK, Harper Entertainment, Lorimar Telepictures, and Rankin-Bass. Kimberly is also the Director of Project Development for Publishing Matters, specializing in custom content and collaborative writing projects for corporations and nonprofits. Kimberly is a frequent speaker and workshop presenter for teachers, students, writers, and general audiences.
