I’ve lived in both Canada and the United States. Today I live just north of New York City in an old Storybook house with my husband and studio cat, Hala.
Stories are what inspire me to draw and create characters. Most of my work is sequential, whimsical, or part of a series. So far, I've covered over 80 subjects in children's books and comics.
Telling stories with pictures is what I love and a habit I started in childhood. My artistic and often eccentric family helped shape my visual voice.
When I’m not creating art, I love to talk about art and teach illustration.
