Bio:

Nancy, a recipient of the New York State Outdoor Education Association's Art and Literature award, is the author of several nonfiction books, including Keeping Our Earth Green and River Wild. Her book, PIZZA FOR THE QUEEN, a Junior Library Guild selection, is a historical fiction picture book for young readers. Nancy holds a Master of Arts degree with a concentration in children's literature, is Chair of the National Education Team of the Sierra Club and is a reviewer for the Historical Novel Society. She has conducted programs at the Boston Children’s Museum, Atlanta Zoo, Tennessee Aquarium, among others and has spoken at the Science Teachers Association of New York State and New England Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Nancy served as ARA for the newly formed Eastern NY region for three years before becoming regional advisor.
