Bio:

Dave Crawley is the author of the acclaimed Cat Poems (2005) and Dog Poems (2007). His book of school poems (Reading, Rhyming, and 'Rithmetic)is scheduled for publication by Boyds Mills Press in March, 2010.

His poetry for children also appears in nine anthologies and more than a dozen children's magazines.

Dave has won ten Emmys and numerous other awards as Feature Reporter at KDKA-TV in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Many of his stories appear in rhyme.

Dave makes frequent school visits where he shares his work and writing tips with poets of the future.
