Bio:
Sheli Petersen—illustration
I love telling a story in pictures.
When I'm not drawing, teaching students about design and illustration, or attending art openings, I'm out riding my bike. The New England critters, wild flowers, light, and landscape I see along my route inspire my illustration for timeless, historical, and contemporary tales. I enjoy drawing with a whimsical, charming style, but it’s also fun to sometimes explore the gothic in my art.
