Bio:

I've been a freelance writer/illustrator since 1996. I started out doing children's portraits, murals, and other various art assignments. My job at the local public library got me interested in illustrating children's books. After publishing two puzzles with illustrations in Hopscotch Magazine, I submitted two stories to On the Line and Spider magazines. Though I enjoy illustrating my own work, it was great to see how the other illustrators interpreted my stories. Since then, I've worked mainly with educational publishers. My most recent project was writing and illustrating a comic/activity book about bio-research for Oregon Health and Science University. I'm currently working on adding some vector art samples to my portfolio and finishing the manuscript for my middle-grade novel. I can be contacted at writer.illustrator@gmail.com
