Bio:

I am currently the R A for the Okinawa Chapter of S C B W I. We are on probation right now until we establish our new group. We have had a fairly active group, but people on a military base are very fluid. Some of our members
(past) have published books. It is wonderful to be a part of the children's literature publishing world. I also teach Children's Literature for the University of Maryland. Currently, I am a children's librarian on Kadena Airbase, Okinawa, Japan. I am happy to help and advise in anyway that I can.. I have attended the National Conference three times and each time it has been simply awesome. I hope to be able to write children's stories myself and then "Tell" them as a storyteller...so I can be gainfully employed after I retire.
