Bio:

I write for adults and children.

My children's credits include seven juvenile nonfiction books, most of them published by Lerner on health and science. I've had articles in many juvenile magazines including Highlights and Cricket.

For the past ten years, I've reviewed children's books for California Kids, a Sacramento regional parenting publication.

I've had articles in The SCBWI Bulletin, CWIM, Children's Writer Newsletter, and others.

My beloved critique group inclues in alphabetical order, Erin Dealey, Jeri Chase Feris Patti Newman, and Linda Joy Singleton.

I'm also an RN and write continuing education articles for nurses: www.nurse.com/ce & search by by name. Newest ones, as of 10/09, include Food Allergies in Children, and H1N1 Pandemic Flu Update.

WORKS IN PROGRESS: Books with Lerner on malaria, hepatitis, and skin cancer. A YA novel ms with a top YA author in an SCBWI mentoring program.
