Lorraine writes poetry, verse novels, educational material and prose. She especially loves the challenge of teaching writing and most enjoys teaching poetry to children and adults.

Lorraine writes literary poetry and has also been published in many journals and magazines. She has experienced small magazine editing.

Lorraine writes from a farming background and big family experiences. Lorraine's verse novel 'Star Jumps' won the inaugural Prime Minister's Literary awards in 2010.
