Bio:

School visits are a great way to get kids interested in reading, their own creative journey in writing and making their own books. Some topics I can bring to your school include:
+ Belong in our world: Learn about differences, acceptance and belonging in family, community and the world.
+ Get it down: Write a story that is meaningful to you.
+ Paint it up: Draw and paint pictures to enhance stories.
+ Draw your path: Make maps of your neighborhood and use them to enhance your story.
+ Sensing your world: Be aware of things around you with all your senses and keep a journal of them.

SCBWI and I have been friends for a long time. What a joy to discover SCBWI while living far from the land of English, in continental Europe. SCBWI France was a glow on the horizon; a connection to others who love children's books. Friends encouraged me to go to Bologna Children's Book Fair. Wow! Go if you can and swim in a sea of creativity with amazing books from all over the world.
