Bio:

My husband Duane and I live on a dairy farm an hour west of Philadelphia. We farm 500 acres of crops and milk 600 Holstein cows (the black and white ones!)
I am related to Milton Hershey (the chocolate guy), but not related close enough to receive chocolate benefits.
I am a freelance journalist in the agricultural trade and have a monthly column in an international dairy magazine, Hoards Dairymen.
Although I love writing about my cows, my passion is writing for children.
I have been a member of SCBWI, Eastern PA for 16 years. During that time I served as Pocono Retreat Director, Assistant Regional Advisor, and as of May, 2008 was named Regional Advisor.
