Twenty-five years as an elementary teacher came in very handy for the visits to K-3rd grade classes I did in September-October 2009. It was a hoot! And even though I checked "availability for speaking engagements" above (the only choice possible), I would prefer classroom contacts rather than an actual speaking engagement, but I could stumble through that as well.
