Bio:

Jill Esbaum's picture books include STINK SOUP (illustrated by Roger Roth; Farrar, Straus & Giroux), STE-E-E-E-EAMBOAT A-COMIN'! (illustrated by Adam Rex; Farrar, Straus & Giroux), ESTELLE TAKES A BATH (illustrated by Mary Newell DePalma; Henry Holt), TO THE BIG TOP (illustrated by David Gordon; Farrar, Straus & Giroux), STANZA (illustrated by Jack E. Davis; HMHarcourt), and TOM'S TWEET (Knopf, illus by Dan Santat). More picture books are forthcoming, as well as additions to the nonfiction Picture the Seasons series she authors for National Geographic Kids. Jill is an instructor for The Institute of Children’s Literature and teaches at the University of Iowa’s Summer Writing Festival. She also serves as SCBWI-IA’s Quad Cities Network Chair. Jill and her husband farm in eastern Iowa.
