Bio:

Donna Gephart's first novel, AS IF BEING 12-3/4 ISN'T BAD ENOUGH,MY MOTHER IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT! won the prestigious Sid Fleischman Humor Award. HOW TO SURVIVE MIDDLE SCHOOL, received starred reviews from Kirkus and School Library Journal and landed on the NY, LA, TX and IL state reading lists. OLIVIA BEAN, TRIVIA QUEEN received a starred Kirkus review and an endorsement from Jeopardy champ, Ken Jennings.

In addition to writing books for children, Donna has written for the following publications: Family Circle Magazine, The Los Angeles Times Newspaper, Parenting, Highlights for Children, Scholastic's Storyworks Magazine, etc.

Donna speaks at elementary and middle schools, conferences, book festivals and libraries, including the S.C.B.W.I. National Conference, the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop, the Conference on Children's Literature, F.A.M.E., etc.

Originally from Philadelphia, Donna now lives in South Florida with her husband and two sons.
