Bio:

Ramey studied creative writing, poetry and art at Bellarmine College and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has received numerous awards for poetry and short stories, including the Barksdale-Maynard Award for her adult short story, Voltus Electricalus and Strata Illuminata. Poetry and short stories published by Aura Literary Arts Review, Scholastic Press, River's Edge Publishing, Elk River Review and others. Children's stories pulished online at Alalit.com, the online magazine of Alabama Writers Conclave. Children's story illustrations published online at My Light Magazine.

Ramey's debut novel, Sweet Music on Moonlight Ridge, published in 2010, will be available in Second Edition from Vanilla Heart Publishers coming soon.
