Bio:

Helen Landalf is author of five books for teachers on using dance and drama in the elementary classroom and two picture books, including "The Secret Night World of Cats," (Smith & Kraus, Inc., 1998), illustrated by her autistic brother, Mark Rimland. The book received a 1998 National Parent Publishing Honor Award. Helen currently writes YA novels and has just sold her debut novel to Samantha McFerrin at Harcourt. When she's not writing, Helen teaches Creative Dance to children and Pilates to adults.
