Bio:

Susan Hill Long is a former editor. She has been a finalist for the Oregon Book Award, and was a 2009 runner-up for the Katherine Paterson Prize from Hunger Mountain, the journal of the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Susan is the author of many books for beginning readers, including BLACK BEAUTY: STOLEN! and BLACK BEAUTY AND THE THUNDERSTORM, in the "My Readers" program published by Feiwel and Friends.
