Bio:

Paula has been working as an illustrator since she graduated from the Academy of Art in San Francisco a few moons ago.
She's done advertising, editorial, movie production, retail display and licensing work, in addition to illustrating children's books.
Colored pencils are her favorite medium, and she's always experimenting with new techniques and papers, always working on perfecting her craft.
She's proud to be a member of PBAA (Picture Book Artist's Association), where she served on the Board for 2 years.
A partial list of publishers she's worked with includes Scholastic, Harcourt, Highlights, Innovative Kids, Zaner-Bloser, MacMilllan/ McGraw-Hill, Sundance, EECI, Houghton-Mifflin and Sesame Street.
She is currently working on a couple new picturebook dummies and trying to get the hang of drawing on a Wacom.
