An American in Paris for many years, Alyssa Landry is an actress, singer and writer. She has appeared in the original French casts of numerous musicals from her first experience as a booth singer in Cats to her most recent role in the same theater 20 years later as Ilona in She Loves Me (Rendez-Vous).
She is co-author of the musical, "Jusqu'aux Dents", winner of the Prix SACD 2007 (Society of Dramatic Authors and Composers). Her English adaptations of French musicals include: "Crime of Passion" by Pierre Philippe and Astor Piazzolla, performed in Edinburgh and London by Jerome Pradon, "Panique à Bord" by Stephane Laporte and Patrick Laviosa, for which she has received an award from the Beaumarchais Foundation, "President... or Not" by Hervé Devolder and most recently, "Lemon Twist" by Stéphane Ly-cuong.
She is currently the show writer for Disneyland Paris, taking entertainment projects from brainstorm to concept, through to the development and writing of scripts. The projects can be as small as finding the names for all the ghosts on Main Street for Halloween, to writing an hour-long musical extravaganza for a special event...
