Bio:

Deborah Allmand, Debbie, taught high school drama for seventeen years and decided in 1998 to move to North Carolina where the rest of her family lived. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is enrolled in the UCLA Writers Certificate Program. She is active the local chapter SCBWI Carolinas and helps with the yearly conference. Debbie writes middle grade and young adult novels. She loves to research so historical fiction is a particular interest. Currently she has a chapter book, two middle grade novels and three young adult novels all as works in progress.
