Bio:

Maurene J. Hinds received a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Montana State University, a Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College, and a post-graduate certificate in writing pedagogy from Antioch LA. She is a full-time educator and writer. She is the author of a dozen books, most geared toward teens, and has written educational study guides, textbook material, articles as a freelancer/ghostwriter, and resumes as an Academy Certified Resume Writer (ACRW) and Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW). Her current work focuses on MG and YA fiction. She is a longtime member of SCBWI and has presented at local chapter events.
