Bio:

Lori writes middle grade fiction, and takes on fiction and non-fiction projects whenever she can. She writes magazine stories and shorts for the LA Times Kids' Reading Room page.

She's a SCBWI/OC volunteer and co-chair of the annual SCBWI/OC Agent's Day in Newport Beach. Lori writes the Industry PROfile column for the SCBWI website, and does school and festival presentations all over SoCal.

Lori has been a SCBWI member for over 10 years and is SO grateful for the remarkable opportunities and all the incredible people she's met there.

Lori has an amazing husband, two sweet & rambunctious kids, and three crazy, rescued dogs. She lives in Orange, CA, but loves to spend time camping and hiking in the Sierras, and traveling off the beaten path around the globe.
