Bio:

Amy N. Thomas is a writer and artist who enjoys working with students to make art and words with process, purpose and product. She is the author of "Far-Reaching Outlets for Your Book in Print" (SCBWI Bulletin May/June 2012); artwork for the SCBWI Mid-Atlantic (2011); Burning Money: the Cost of Smoking (Mason Crest 2009) for the school library market; and “Ava’s Word” (Turtle Magazine Sept/Oct 2009). She's also written test passages and columns for children for other organizations. She writes and paints in Virginia and posts at www.amynthomas.com.
