Bio:

In addition to writing and illustrating, Anna is a middle grade educator in the fields of language arts, social studies, and art. Anna is an MFA candidate in the Writing for Children and Young Adults program at Vermont College of Fine Arts.

Anna is the illustrator of "Fufu & Fresh Strawberries" which will be published in May 2010 by The Telling Room of Portland, Maine.

Anna's poetry has been published and purchased by Highlights, Ladybug, Highlights High Five, and Babybug Magazines.

Anna is the SCBWI RA for Northern New England. As the Co-director of the New England SCBWI 2008, and 2009 conferences, Anna has networked widely. She is also an active member of the Maine Illustrators’ Collective.

Anna has been posting to the blog, "Creative Chaos" II since 2005. http://ajboll.livejournal.com/ She reviews poetry,fiction and nonfiction for the middle grade and picture book audiences each Wednesday.
