Bio:

Erik Brooks is the author and illustrator of several well regarded picture books, including the award winning POLAR OPPOSITES and CBC Children's Choices award winner, THE PRACTICALLY PERFECT PAJAMAS. He celebrated 10 years of making books in 2010 and is looking forward to the next decade! Erik also wrote and illustrated OCTAVIUS BLOOM AND THE HOUSE OF DOOM, and SLOW DAYS, FAST FRIENDS. Some of the many books he has illustrated include: WHO HAS THESE FEET? by Laura Hulbert, CAT DIARIES, DOG DIARIES, BOO'S SURPRISE, and BOO’S DINOSAUR, written by Betsy Byars, MONKEY BUSINESS, written by Shirley Climo, TOTEM TALE by Deb Vanasse, and POLAR POLKA: COUNTING POLAR BEARS IN ALASKA, written by Cherie Stihler. WHO HAS THIS TAIL?, and SEA STAR WISHES are current works in progress.
