Bio:

SCBWI rescued Judy from a dismal and quite boring career in the insurance industry by encouraging her love for children’s literature. She is passionate about writing for children and reviews children’s books by Wisconsin authors for Dane County Parent magazine.

Judy's latest picture book was nominated for the Sue Alexander Award at the 2009 Summer Conference in Los Angeles. She is also Wisconsin's Assistant Regional Advisor.

A busy mother of three teenagers, she is currently working on several picture books, a young adult novel and a spooky mid-grade ghost story.
