Bio:

Leslie writes for children of all ages. Her titles include MISS BRIDIE CHOSE A SHOVEL, winner of the International Reading Association prize for primary fiction, and WAITING FOR NORMAL, winner of the Schneider Family Book Award, and an ALA Top Ten Best Books listing.

She's looking forward to the publication of her new title for 'tweens, CRUNCH, coming out in 2010.
