Bio:

Anindita Basu Sempere is the Executive Director of The Writing Faculty. She has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, an MA in Poetry from Boston University’s Creative Writing Program, and an S.M. from the MIT Media Lab's Future of Learning Group.

Anindita co-directed the 2009 and 2010 New England SCBWI regional conferences “Many Voices” and “Moments of Change.” She organized Boston-area children’s literature meet-ups and wrote about social media for the NESCBWI News.
