Bio:

Genetta's work has been published over 500 times in publications including Faces, Clubhouse, Brio, Guideposts for Kids, Guideposts for Teens, and other children’s and adult magazines and newspapers, as well as in educational material used as test passages for CTB McGraw-Hill, Harcourt Brace, and Waterford Institute.

Genetta's manuscript THE VANISHINGS won the 2012 SCBWI WOOP (Work Of Outstanding Promise) Award.

She previously served SCBWI as the Midsouth Regional Advisor. She currently works as a co-coordinator for the Midsouth Fall Conference.
