Jill Weber

Bio:

JILL WEBER is a children's book illustrator and designer, who has published with many major publishers. She began her education at Rhode Island School of Design and completed her BFA at The New Hampshire Institute of Art, where she now taught illustration. Jill collaborated with author Julie Salamon on The Christmas Tree a New York Times Best seller which sold in twelve foreign countries. Jill has illustrated many picture books, including; Christmas Tree Farm (Holiday House 2006), written by Ann Purmell, a Jr. Library Guild Selection and a New York Time’s Christmas pick in 2006. Even Higher: A Rosh Hashanah Story (Holiday House 2009) and The Story of Esther: A Purim Tale (Holiday House 2011) written by esteemed author Eric Kimmel, were both PJ Library selections. The Story of Hanukkah (Holiday House 2011) by David Adler, is Jill's most recent title. The original art was on exhibit at the Danforth Museum Nov.2011 to Jan. 2012. Jill and her husband Frank live on Frajil Farms in New Hampshire.
