Bio:

Genny is the Assistant Regional Advisor in North / Central California. It wasn’t until after she earned her MBA, worked at a computer company for five years, then decided to stay home with her kids that she got back in touch with her passion for writing.

Genny is the author of four children's books (due out in 2010, published by Unibooks, Korea) and her middle grade novel recently received Honorable Mention in the 2009 Sue Alexander Awards. It also received Honorable Mention in the California Focus on Writers Contest--Children's Literature Category, and Honorable Mention in the Smartwriters.com WIN Contest. One of her picture book manuscripts won 1st Place in the California Focus on Writers Contest.

In addition to her children's writing, Genny's work has been published in magazines, on Websites, and in a book titled Kirtsy Takes a Bow: A Celebration of Women's Favorites Online (Bright Sky Press, October 2009). She reviews books for the San Francisco Book Review and Sacramento Book Review, and is the managing editor for 5MinutesforFaith.com, a sister site to 5MinutesforMom.com.
