Bio:

Liz Garton Scanlon is assistant professor of creative writing at Austin Community College, a mother of two daughters, and the pen behind the pages of HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BUNNY! (illustrated by Stephanie Graegin and published by Beach Lane Books/Simon & Schuster), which has been warmly received with multiple starred reviews.

Other recent books include THINK BIG (illustrated by Vanessa Newton and published by Bloomsbury), NOODLE & LOU (illustrated by Arthur Howard and published by Beach Lane Books/Simon & Schuster), ALL THE WORLD (illustrated by Marla Frazee and published by Beach Lane Books/Simon & Schuster) and A SOCK IS A POCKET FOR YOUR TOES (illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser and published by HarperCollins).

ALL THE WORLD received a Caldecott Honor, four starred reviews and was on numerous best-of-the-year lists.
