Bio:
Sarah Aronson did not always want to become a writer. Her first choices: an actress or a punter for the NFL. When those choices did not pan out, she worked as a personal trainer, physical therapist, school principal, and bookseller. Eventually, she discovered books. And she will never change her mind again!
Sarah holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her first novel, Head Case (Roaring Brook 2007) was named a 2008 Quick Pick for Reluctant Readers. Her first middle grade novel, Beyond Lucky, was published by Dial Books for Young Readers in June 2011 and is a VOYA Top Shelf pick for Middle Grade Readers. Her next novel, Believe, will be released in Fall 2013. She was awarded a work in progress grant from SCBWI in 2004. Sarah loves working with aspiring writers in her online classes at writers.com. When she's not writing, she enjoys cooking, hiking, biking, watching sports, and practicing hot yoga!
