Bio:

Joan is an illustrator, writer, and graphic designer. In addition to creating work for gallery exhibitions, juried competitions, curated shows, magazines, and books, she is the illustrator of the award-winning middle grade adventure Lost in Lexicon and its sequel The Ice Castle by Pendred Noyce (Scarletta Press).

Her clients include: New Moon Magazine, Scholastic UK, Boyds Mills Press, Dover Publications, Spider Magazine, Tumblehome Press, McGraw Hill, Scarletta Press and the Los Angeles Times.
