Bio:

Welcome to my very brief bio:
I am creating picture books for kids of all ages, as well as young adult books. I love to write and illustrate my own stories. I started drawing as soon as I could hold a crayon, and I learned to write while getting my BA. I am learning to write even better while finishing my MA. So much writing....so good for me!

I have had cartoons published, composed a great deal of ads and graphic design packages - but I hope to illustrate books by other authors too, which could take my imagination on exciting adventures that may include illustrations of animals or a scientific experiment or travel to a faraway land with a group of kids or whatever!!! It's all good!

Being a military brat, I have lived all over the United States and in Europe, and still LOVE to travel. I also love, love, love meeting people! I really enjoy listening to any ideas from anyone!

Along with my two wonderful sons, I have a special little Corgi dog named Lucy. She came to live with us on Christmas Eve 2009, after our neighbor found her running around lost in the heavy snowstorm. So, of course, she is the subject of one of my picture books that I am currently working on. Will share it with everyone soon!

I hope this journey with SCBWI takes me to a profession where I can grow along with my audience very soon!
