Deborah Diesen is the author of The Pout-Pout Fish, a rhyming picture book illustrated by Dan Hanna and published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux; and of The Barefooted, Bad-Tempered Baby Brigade, illustrated by Tracy Dockray and published by Tricycle Press. Previously a bookseller and a librarian, she currently works for a small nonprofit organization. She lives with her husband and two sons in Michigan.
