Bio:

Louise has lived in Alaska for many years, with the exception of a year in Iran (when she was 1 1/2!) and a year in Ankara, Turkey when she was ten years old. She is a graduate of the University of Alaska, Anchorage with a BA, Major: Art, Minor: Anthropology. She has been drawing, and making up stories to go with them, for as long as she can remember.

Ms. Kytömaa Lane has had several art shows in the Anchorage area, and received awards for her artwork. She lives on the Hillside in Anchorage; and, when not writing or drawing, is usually out running on the trails with her two Karelian Bear Dogs in the summer or xc skiing on the trails in the winter.
