Bio:

Gaby Triana is the author of many books for young adults, a cake designer, a mother of three boys, and all-around extremely busy person. Her books include BACKSTAGE PASS, CUBANITA, THE TEMPTRESS FOUR, and RIDING THE UNIVERSE, which collectively, have earned an IRA Teen Choice Award, been listed as ALA Best Paperbacks, praised by Booklist, School Library Journal, Kliatt, Kirkus, Publisher's Weekly, and named one of HISPANIC MAGAZINE'S Good Reads of 2008.

In addition to writing books and designing whimsical, sculpted and wedding cakes, Gaby is the Assistant Regional Advisor for SCBWI Florida, planning conferences, conducting critiques and workshops, and visiting schools in her spare time. An overall view of her obsessions include Halloween, Disney World, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, driving fast cars, hosting parties, and spending time with her family. She recently finished her paranormal mystery, WAKE THE HOLLOW, a sci-fi about Hollow Earth Theory called EARTH AS WE KNOW IT, and has a summer romantic fantasy called SUMMER OF YESTERDAY coming out from Simon Pulse, Summer '14.
