Bio:

I was born and raised on the Gulf of Mexico in the panhandle of Florida. I have a B.S. in psychology and anthropolgy and a Masters degree in Library Science. I started writing fiction for kids about six years ago. My first novel for teens, The Ring, was published in 2009. A Dog's Way Home (HarperCollins) was published March, 2011. My latest book, The Dogs of Winter, will be out with Arthur A. Levine Books (Scholastic) in Oct. 2012. I live in Park City, Utah with my husband, two cats and three dogs. I love to skype with schools!
