Bio:

As a writer and freelance photographer, Doris Holik Kelly enjoys traveling around Michigan and exploring places to write mysteries for the young adult market. Doris is a member of SCBWI- MI. Married with two children, and adopted by a pair of poodles, Doris was born in South Bend, Indiana, and raised over the border in Niles, Michigan, where she still resides.
Book one of the Big Mitten Mysteries, Mystery of the Copper Turtle,released May of 2009.
Book two, Mystery of the Voyageur's Rendezvous, released November 1st 2009.
Book three, Mystery of the Bone Scavengers,released in August 2010.
All are published by Arbutus Press in Traverse City, Michigan.
