Bio:

I started writing short mystery, crime and romance stories for magazines and ezines back in 2004. I have stories in four anthologies.
I am a physical therapist working in a school system in Virgina and one of the special education teachers told me "You work in a school, you should write for kids."
I started a picture book in 2007, and after many revisions and multiple critieques at SCBWI conferences, I have a contract with Sylvan Dell Publishers. My picture book, The Penguin Lady is due to be published Feb 12,2012.

2/19/12 - The Penguin Lady is now available at Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Books a Million and at Sylvan Dell. It has been published as a hard cover, paperback and ebook in both English and Spanish.
