Bio:

Irina Mirskaya gains inspiration for her paintings from childhood memories and a colorful world of folk tales. She enjoys conventional painting with watercolor, egg tempera, oils and pen and ink, as well as digital imaging.
Picture book “We Love the Company”, illustrated by Irina and written by A. Russ-Ayon, won a Moonbeam 2010 Silver Medal in a category "picture book - preschool.
Irina is also a creative designer of textiles, greeting cards, handmade jewelry, and puppets.
Born in Russia, Irina now lives and works in Long Beach, CA with her husband and two children.
