Bio:

I write middle grade novels and chapter books, often from an Asian American perspective. I earned an MFA in Writing for Children and YA from Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2008. While in the program, I wrote multicultural stories, including chapter book FRIED WONTON and MG novel PAPER SON. I worked with authors Cynthia Leitich Smith, Sharon Darrow, Uma Krishnaswami, and Rita Williams-Garcia.
