Bio:

ANNETTE GULATI is the 2007 recipient of the SCBWI Barbara Karlin grant for her picture book JAMUNA. She’s also won a Kay Snow award for her picture book IS THIS INDIA? In addition to writing picture books, easy readers and middle-grade fiction, her articles, stories, poetry and activities have appeared in magazines such as Babybug, Ladybug, Highlights for Children, Highlights High Five and others. When she’s not writing, Annette volunteers for SMART-Oregon and teaches enrichment writing classes for children.
