Bio:

Maureen Doyle McQuerry is an author, poet and teaching artist with the WA State Arts Commission. She teaches writing at Columbia Basin College. Book publications include: Nuclear Legacy (Battelle Press 2000, an IPPY award winner), Student Inquiry (Creative Learning Press 2003), Relentless Light (Finishing Line Press 2003), Wolfproof (Idylls Press 2006)and The Travelers’ Market (Idylls 2008). She recently signed a two book deal with Abrams/ Amulet for a middle grade fantasy series to be published in 2011. Her poetry has appeared in The Southern Review and many other literary journals.
