Bio:

Betty Higbie and her husband Lee have just driven the Alaska Highway from Fairbanks to their former home in Arvada, Colorado. Delighted with the experience of northern culture (all five winters) and were pleased with the opportunities the area offered. Betty loves to write, read, play tennis, eat chocolate, garden, travel and cook when she has time. The Kansas State University elementary ed degree and the master’s from the University of Northern Colorado guided her career in education.
