Christine L. Henderson began writing her first novel in third grade. As an adult, she did quite a bit of technical writing and received her first publishing credits in scientific journals. Her fondness for children’s literature blossomed when she became a mom and revisited her favorite childhood books. This led her to join SCBWI, where she served as Regional Advisor for three years in Minnesota. Christine’s work has appeared in Highlights for Children magazine, Young Rider magazine, and two Chicken Soup for the Soul books. She has also written a young adult mystery and has several new projects in the works. She currently lives in North Dakota with her husband, three children, and three dogs.
